The wall

The picture with no glass, no matting, & bad lighting is gone.

The broken piece of glass no longer graces the wall.

And the date stamped 4X6 inch pictures have been removed. Oh why did we ever think it was a good idea to have the date stamp feature printed on every last picture??!


In their place I've got the staple items up. A picture of each of us, a piece of my sisters art as well as one of mine. I've got a few more ideas but alas for getting things done on time. I really wanted it to fit in with the eclectic, random, vintage style that mom has going in her house & I think it has.

I'm really kicking myself for not having taken a "before" picture. I was just too excited to get all the pictures off the wall & start working on the project! I ended up buying 3 frames with coordinating glass because it was just too costly to get glass custom cut to size for my old frames. But I did paint the one, made all the mats with color coordinating papers & did my utmost to keep the whole project decently priced. I ended up spending about $80.
