please be curtious

Dear Rude & Selfish Riders of the Public Transit System,

Please move as far back in the bus as possible to ensure that other people don't get left behind in the cold wind & snow ultimately to end up late for work. Don't wait for someone to yell at you again & again. Go. Just move back. It's not that complicated of a concept.

Also don't hover around the back exit, forcing the person who wishes to exit to wedge their way into your mob of friends thrust an outstretched arm up over your group to open the door, all the while staggering around wildly due to the fact that you & your friends are all blocking any & all handles & walls with which to stabilize ones self. It shouldn't come as a surprise that when the bell has been rung & the bus is pulling over to a stop, that someone has the intention of exiting the vehicle.

Thank you kindly for thinking of your fellow transit riders.

  1. This brought back memories of the couple times that my husband and I visited NY City. May the "rude and selfish riders" take this note to heart. ;)
