Touches of Christmas

I picked up some old red Christmas balls at a rummage sale & then added a few new balls to the mix. I would like to keep looking for vintage ornaments but this is the start to my collection of decorations, one day we'll have enough for a tree!

I made a number of Christmas cards but I wrote in them & sealed up the envelopes before I thought of taking pictures. I got down on the wood floor & used the cracks & the back of a butter knife to score the cards around the edges & was quite pleased with my results.

This is the only nativity scene I have so far & it's tiny but tiny is cute so that's okay. I am looking forward to buying a nativity scene from Mexico seeing as they have such a selection of them. The worry I guess would be transportation...

Some of my artwork from throughout the years, none are current which puts me to shame.
Well today was my first time using a full sized computer screen for blogger & then google reader & wow what an experience. I never knew what I was missing all this time! I really love my little notebook for being, well, tiny & light-weight... but now I know a full sized screen is really the only way to go for checking out gorgeous sites. Even my blog looks different!!
