Today's encouragement was to break some of my own self imposed rules. To do something that I wouldn't normally do in my art. Well this whole Creativity Boot Camp experience has been all about that, feeling very out of my comfort zone & being forced to draw things that I don't feel comfortable about drawing. I realized that I often choose things to draw because I know that I can draw that perspective, or I can handle that lighting or I feel comfortable with a certain level of detail & actually that is quite limiting to never step out & draw things that I don't think I can do PERFECTLY. That's a key word. I don't have to strive for perfection.
